Wigwam Arts has provided a link between art and education for over 15 years working in partnership with schools, hospitals, children centres, art galleries and various other community organisations.

Our mosaic workshops provide a memorable and enjoyable learning experience which engage and excite participants. Our aims are to: -

  • Use the visual arts to stimulate imaginations and encourage creative ways of thinking.
  • Provide memorable and exciting learning experiences which engage participants.
  • Teach new skills and knowledge.
  • Work with a wide range of people of all ages and abilities.

Mosaic is hands-on, versatile and adaptable to all ages and abilities and provides participants with an immense sense of pride in producing a vibrant, colourful and high quality piece of artwork that can transform their environment.

 

The process for commissioning a mosaic workshop, for example in a school is as follows: -

  • Initial consultation.
  • Design workshops with pupils aimed to stimuate creativity and ideas.
  • Submission of final design.
  • Building of the mosaic in an allocated area of the school working with small groups.
  • Installation of the finished piece by Wigwam Arts.

Costs are £200-£300 per day plus materials.
